Island Cat Resources & Adoption

Fundraising Volunteers

Position Description

Description:

Fundraising volunteers are very, very important to ICRA. All of the money we raise is used directly to implement our various programs because we are volunteer based. Without our fundraising events, we would not be able to rescue 100's of cats a year.

We have a silent auction fundraiser that is our major fundraising event each year. This event generates a significant portion of our annual budget. Volunteers work at these events, get donations for the silent auction, decorate, cook, and generally do whatever is needed to put together a major event.

Volunteers are required to complete the 12-hour training ICRA provides on an ongoing basis. Volunteers need to attend fundraising meetings as well as general meetings as scheduled.
