Island Cat Resources & Adoption

Trap/Neuter/Return

Do you like the call of the outdoors? Do fresh air and cool breezes call your name? If so, you may be the person we have been looking for.

By humanely trapping and altering feral cats before releasing them back to their colonies, we can reduce the numbers of unwanted kittens born every year. Uncontrolled breeding of abandoned and feral cats, along with irrresponsible pet owners who don't spay/neuter their cats, is directly responsible for the incredible feline population explosion found in our communities.

As we have domesticated the cat and made it our pet, we share the responsibility to reduce the ever-increasing population of unwanted cats that are born into a world of disease, hunger, and misery.

We will train you how to humanely trap these cats and kittens, we will tell you where to take them to be altered, how to socialize the kittens for adoption, and when to release the adults and older adolescents back into their old area. We can even provide the trap.

Become part of our winning team. In 1995, we altered over 300 cats/kittens. As of January 2004, we have altered more than 4500 cats and kittens. Join us by volunteering to trap, alter, and return these special cats and kittens.

Help us to get to them before any more unwanted kittens are born.
